The Royal Aeroclub de Reus Costa Daurada It was founded in 1935 by a group of people that wanted to practice this kind of flying as a hobby. It is a non –profit organization, created by a group of people interested in the practice of the engine flying. The main goal of our club is to facilitate to all the amateurs of engine flying in our area (Camp de Tarragona) the achievement of their objectives. The Aeroclub gives to all its members the human and technical facilities in order to do this activity .
It was founded in 1935 by a group of people that wanted to practice this kind of flying as a hobby. Since then a lot of people have obtained the Private Pilot License and some of them have gone along and nowadays are professional pilots in important Air Companies. In the actuality we offer 10-12 courses of Private Pilot every year. That means about 2.000 hours of flying every year .Is for this reason that we are one of the most important Aeroclubs in the national ranking .At the moment the Aeroclub has got more than 265 members .
